Parking lots, loading docks, and abandoned office buildings yield place-less-ness.  The goal of the project is to imagine diversity and defy the singular use on behalf of a neighborhood.  Adding activities such as work/making (characterized by a film studio), play (parks), interaction (victory gardens), and living.  The formal strategy used re-centers (pocket parks), re-emerges (topography), and re-scales (housing edge).
